Hand-milked and homemade here on our homestead in Western NC

Welcome to Feathers and Flowers Homestead! We're Andrea and Roman, the husband and wife team behind our little homestead. Our products are handmade by us in small batches with care and intention. We only sell what we personally use and love. We strive to use the freshest of ingredients, including our fresh goats milk, hand milked here on our homestead from our small herd of Nigerian Dwarf goats, as well as herbs handpicked from our garden. All of our soaps are scented with high quality essential oils, and, if colored, are colored with natural colorants such as clays and vegetable powders- nothing artificial. We’re so glad to share a bit of our homestead’s goodness with you. Thank you for supporting handmade!

Why Goat's Milk?

Goats milk is packed full of nutrients, vitamins, minerals, and fatty acids that are super beneficial for keeping skin soft, moisturizing the skin, and helping to repair the skins natural barrier.

Here’s a few fun facts about goats milk:

The lactic acid in goats milk works as a natural exfoliant, by removing dead skin cells without removing healthy ones.
Goat milk contains high levels of vitamin A and selenium, which helps maintain a healthy microbiome, helping prevent acne.
Goat milk is full of Vitamin C and E, which helps protect the skin from aging.
Goat milk helps reduce inflammation and contains less allergens.
Goat milk has a similar pH level as humans, so it’s absorbed by our skin with less irritation and keeps bacteria at bay!!
